I have to admit sometimes I can become preoccupied with things and don't pay attention to what my darling son is doing. This is one of those occasions. I was on the computer when all of a sudden it was really quiet around the house. It is usually only that quiet when Mitchell is sleeping or into something, since I knew he wasn't sleeping I figured he was into something. I have my flour in a big Tupperware in the bottom of my pantry, well apparently I didn't put it back last time I used it because Mitchell was having one heck of a time playing in it. I snapped a few pictures before I cleaned up the mess.

World Champions!!!!

Well it was an exciting few days at the World Chariot Races. My dad as well as Justen were running in the first division and my dad also had a team in the 2Nd division. They all did awesome!! I am so proud of all of them. My dad's team in the 2nd division ended up 3rd, only because on of the horses, Orange Saint, came up sore after the race on Friday and when they brought him back on Sunday he wasn't much better. I am so glad that they decided not to run at the last minute. I would have hated for something worse have happened. Justen and Glen did really well also up until the last day when Joe came up soar and not wanting to hurt him any worse decided to pull out on the last day. If they would have run they would have been running for 4th, 5th , and 6th in the 1st division. My dad's big team of Dominant Cash and Summer Love were amazing, they ended up first in the first division, which means they are the 2009 World Champions. I am so happy for my dad, he has been going after this for a long time. He totally deserves it. Also, Zac Vane had been driving the team all year, let his dad Larry drive them in the final dash. They are a great family and I am happy that I am able to call them my friends. Congratulations to all of you!!
P.S. It was way exciting, but I am sure glad it is over. I need my Saturdays back.
Happy B-Day Justen!!
Well I am really late on this one,but the last few weeks have been super crazy and I just haven't had a chance to post. Justen turned 32 on the 18th of March, we just had a little party for hime here at the house. Last year I made Mitchell a horse cake for his birthday, Justen made fun off it and I told him for his birthday I would make him the other end. So that is what I did, it took me a little bit to figure it out but I think it turned out pretty funny. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. He works so hard for us and I know it isn't always easy to live with me. I hope you had a great birthday and know that I love you!

Utah Sate Champions!!!

This last weekend Justen, Mitchell, and I went to Utah for the Chariot Racing State Championship. My dad was running three teams, they were in the 4th, 2nd, and 1st division. He runs with Larry Vane and his two boys Zack and Ty. They were able to win all of their races. Which means that my dad's team of Wasatch Pallet#1 are the Utah State Champions, Vane Racing won first in the 2nd division, and Wasatch Pallet #2 won the fourth division. It was so much fun to see how excited everyone was, we had a great time. Mitchell loved watching the races, but he especially loved playing in the puddles. I am so proud of my dad and the boys, I know they have worked really hard for this and I am so excited for them. Now I get to be all nervous for this coming weekend, Justen is running in the first division at the Idaho State Championships. Hopefully I will be able to post some more exciting news about his races. Congrats Dad, Larry, Ty, and Zack!

Update
I usually just post if I have pictures to go along with the post. I don't have any pictures but I will just kind of catch everyone up on what has been going on. Justen and his dad have been chariot racing all winter and the ended up first in the club. Which is quite exciting, this means that they will be going into the Idaho State and World Cutter races in the first division. This division is the best of the best, hopefully we will do well. My dad will also be in the first division so most likely we will have to run each other, which is my least favorite thing to do. It makes me very irritable the whole day, just ask my husband and dad. No one will want to be around me. Maybe this year I will care less, but probably not. Monday the 26th was my 25Th birthday. I always thought that when 25 was so old, now I am 25 and I do not feel like I should be that old. On Saturday the 24th, the three of us took a quick trip to Ogden to watch my dad race and then we all went out to dinner for my birthday. On Monday, Justen's family, friends of ours, and of course us all went out to dinner at the new Red Robin. It was really good and I ate way too much. After that we went over to Justen's moms for some cake and ice cream. It was a fun day. I have also started to make hair bows and sell them at work. It is something I thought would be kind of fun to see what I could come up with and see if they would sell. Well I have sold pretty much everything that I have made. I am keeping pretty busy with all the bow orders that people are giving me. Last but certainly not least Mitchell, he is growing up so fast. I can't believe that in about three months he will be two years old. He is starting to throw a few tantrums, which are so much fun. But for the most part he is just a happy go-lucky little boy. He loves his "Dadda", he cannot get enough of him. He is starting to be such a little talker. Have the time I think he is speaking Chinese, but his words are becoming more and more clear. He loves to watch "Memo"(Finding Nemo) and "Tars" (Cars), he must watch one of them everyday. All in all everything is going well, and hopefully I can keep you all up to date a little bit better if I blog like this.

Christmas 2008
Merry Christmas!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas, we had a great one. Mitchell got a lot of trucks and tractors from Santa, he wasn't quite sure about the whole thing. I am sure next year will be a little more exciting for him. Justen gave me a new watch and a new pair of boots. I love them, who said that jewelry was the way a to a girls heart, for me it is a new pair of cowboy boots. I gave Justen some clothes and a guitar tuner, just call him Justeban. Here are a few pictures, the first is of the singel men and little boys in there christmas pj's, and the next is of some of us girls in our snazzy pj's. The rest I believe are self explanatory.
